HTC has just introduced their new handsets, HTC Desire P and Desire Q. Initially for Chinese and Taiwanese markets, they are phones at low to mid-range running Android.

The HTC Desire P has a 4.3 inch screen and WVGA resolution. We do not know the size of his internal memory, which can be expanded with microSD cards, but we do know it has a dual core processor at 1 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. Moreover, its main camera is 8 megapixels. Initially, this smartphone will be available in white and red, and could be priced at $365 in Taiwan.

The HTC Desire Q has the same specifications as the previous model but with 4 inch screen. The colors available for this model are black, white and red. It features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the HTC Sense  customization, like its companion Desire P. Its price is $235 with China Mobile.

They will be released this year, but we still don’t know when they will hit other markets or what its release date wiil be, because so far the details of these new HTC smartphones are still very vague. These models cannot be compared with the HTC One, but they are interesting alternatives for those with lower claims and lower budget.
