Sony VAIO Fit: specs and price of the new multi-flip convertible


Recently Sony presented its new portable Fit, announcing them as middle range, is not known yet why, given that its features and its price are a high-end, more powerful and you can enjoy outstanding options. They feature Triluminos technology and Multi-flip to be able to convert them into tablets without effort.

These new laptops equipped with Windows 8 offer in a single device up to 3 different modes of use: laptop, tablet and “Viewer”.


Triluminos touch screens have Full HD and Over Full HD resolutions, up to 2,880 x 1620 pixels. Processors are Intel Core of 4th generation, Haswell, and with dedicated NVIDIA graphics with the new Optimus technology, to switch between integrated and dedicated.


Webcams have 8 Megapixels, allowing us to capture more than decent pictures and make document optical scanner thanks to some OCR applications. It also includes a digitizer pen to annotate. Enjoy 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD (or a hybrid of 1 TB) is what we will do if we buy this new range. The bad are the 2 kg of weight we have to carry.

They will be available in Europe in November and pricing that will start at $1,200.
