HTC presents a new terminal called HTC Desire 300 in the low range of family Desire. This terminal is to complement other that already has the company within this range and which would be on the same line as the HTC Desire 200.
The HTC Desire 300 has a 4.3 inch screen with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and has a style very similar to HTC One that we all know, but it is not built in aluminium but in plastic like most low-end smartphones.
In its interior we can find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor at 1 GHz. RAM amounts up to 512 MB and also has an internal storage of 4 GB expandable through up to 64 GB microSD cards.
It has a 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera and also will be able to record video with 480p quality. The front has VGA, enough resolution to make video calls.
Connectivity is quite comprehensive and we find Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, etc. Its dimensions are 131.78 × 66.23 × 10-12 mm with a weight of 120 grams, has a battery of 1,650 mAh and operating system Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense and HTC BlinkFeed.
Price and availability
At the moment we do not know the price, although it is expected to be very high for a terminal with these specifications. Expected to be available in the European market from October onwards.
